Welcome to our Confirmation program at St. John's! Our program is designed for youth to deepen their faith, explore Lutheran teachings, and grow in their relationship with God and the rest of the church community.

It is an important rite in the Lutheran Church when young people make public affirmation of their faith by saying "yes" to their baptism, promising to live out their faith in Jesus Christ within the community of believers.

It is a two-year commitment to receiving bi-monthly instruction starting in mid-September of each year through early June involving catechetical education, personal reflection, and community service among peers with Pastor and a Deacon/Adult.

Confirmands will learn the core beliefs and practices of the Lutheran faith, studying Luther's Small Catechism and reading scripture. Instruction will aim to provide confirmands with a comprehensive understanding of Christian doctrine and Lutheran theology.

Confirmation Day! It will take place on Pentecost Sunday during the worship service.
